Jamu Gin Tonic
RECIPE
In a glass with ice cubes, pour:
5cl of gin
5cl of Jamu Original
Top it up with tonic water and garnish with a lemon slice.
Enhance the cocktail with fresh mint, by rubbing the rim of the glass with it.
VARIATION
For a less bitter cocktail, replace tonic water with sparkling water and sweeten with a little honey or maple syrup.
GOING FURTHER
Add a few lightly crushed cardamom pods to the glass to allow their flavor to infuse.
Jamu Whisky Sour
RECIPE
In a glass with ice cubes, pour:
4cl of non-peated whisky
4cl of Jamu Original
1 spoonful of honey
Top it up with freshly squeezed orange juice. Garnish with a few orange slices.
VARIATION
For a more aromatic and smooth cocktail, replace the whisky with Grand Marnier.
GOING FURTHER
Add a bit of star anise and/or a bay leaf to the glass.
Jamu Bloody Mary
RECIPE
In a glass with or without ice, pour:
5cl of vodka
5cl of Jamu Original
Add a pinch of salt and top it up with tomato juice. Garnish with a cherry tomato or a lemon twist.
GOING FURTHER
Grate a little nutmeg (sparingly) and add a small pinch of Espelette pepper.
